Etia van Hell is the founder of Montreal-based Studio van Hell, a creative studio specializing in video production with a strong focus on animation. She co-directed and animated two episodes of What Happens When and has collaborated with Robbie Lockie and Plant Based News on a range of animation and design projects. Her work also includes feature documentaries such as the award-winning Netflix Original Seaspiracy, as well as Christpiracy (directed by Kip Andersen). She is currently animating for a new feature-length film.
Devoted to environmentalism and animal welfare, Etia strives to create work that inspires change—using art and storytelling to move audiences toward a more conscious, compassionate future. With over eight years of experience, she blends artistic vision with technical precision to bring impactful stories to life.
Robbie is a London-based digital creative with over 25 years of experience in content production, storytelling, and digital strategy. Since starting my career in 1999, I’ve worked with global brands like Jamie Oliver, Getty Images, and Bloomberg—bringing ideas to life through compelling video, design, and emerging technologies. As a video editor and digital producer, I’m fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. I also work at the cutting edge of creative tech—producing generative visuals with tools like MidJourney, Higgsfield, and Kling, composing with Suno, building AI-assisted workflows using ChatGPT, and automating content pipelines with Make.com and n8n. I thrive where creativity meets innovation—whether it's crafting a short film that drives social change or building scalable systems to power content production for mission-driven brands.
Alongside my commercial work, I’ve built a strong track record as a campaigner. I’m the co-founder of Plant Based News, a pioneering media platform reaching millions each month with stories that challenge the food system and advocate for a plant-based future. I also founded World Plant Milk Day, an international campaign that celebrates dairy-free alternatives and encourages climate-conscious dietary shifts. I’m passionate about working on projects that matter—whether that's exposing misinformation in the food system, fighting for climate justice, or crafting creative content that speaks to the soul. My work lives at the intersection of ethics, aesthetics, and emerging tech.
